We lost a great Canadian and also a great man when The Honourable Jack Layton passed away early this morning.
Most people would say that "honesty", "integrity" and "politician" can't be used in the same sentence and that's probably true most of the time. Mr. Layton was the exception to that rule.
My thoughts and prayers go to his family, his numerous friends and countless Canadians whom are feeling his loss today.
