UPDATE: A Shopping Channel spokesperson confirmed on Monday, March 15, 2010 that Norm is NOT leaving The Shopping Channel. He has moved to the morning time slot.

There's a rumour going on about host Norm Murray leaving TSC. I don't know if it's true but it seems more true than false at this point. On the old blog, I said: "I wonder what will happen to the hostesses schedule when Betty-Jean gets back. Will one of them be bumped on the back burner? We'll have to wait and see ...". We may have the answer or a portion of the whole answer.
Since Betty-Jean came back, we were seeing lot less of each hostess and the hosts schedule was turned upside-down sometimes. Hostesses that were normally seen in the morning (or afternoon) were suddenly seen very late at night and vice-versa.
Waiting for an official confirmation about Norm's status at TSC. He's a very nice guy and an extremely professional host. IF Norm is really leaving TSC, will he be replaced or will they drop the number of hosts to 11 as it was last year? We may have the answer soon.
